Challenge
Take a Fortune 500 company, research current market placement, and discover new channels of Starbucks to improve upon.

Background

Starbucks is a timeless classic in terms of coffee, but it has lost it “coffee shop” interior feel and I wanted to add a touch of sustainability into the minds of Starbucks.

Process

I started by drawing up some thumbnails of what the interior could possibly look like. I wanted to bring in a timeless feel but add in a bit of the industrial feel that uses sustainable materials such as stainless steel and reclaimed wood. I additionally drafted up a couple of mood boards to bring a better idea to the overall feel of the interior.

Results

I designed a couple of advertisements for the grand opening of the newly redesigned space for Starbucks as well as an advertisement for the opening of a mural space for any local artists to showcase their art. I found that the menus were lacking in terms of design so I put my own spin on those. Finally I designed some tumblers and an advertisement to go along with it that includes my own art.
